We believe that effective learning begins with the right fit and a clear commitment from both students and families. To support this, we have established the following policy:
First Class & $50 Non-Refundable Setup Fee
The first class is a regular session. Students and parents may decide after the class whether to continue with the course.
- Setup Fee: $50 (non-refundable, covers account setup, course materials, and preparation).
- Tuition Refund: If the family decides not to continue after the first class, we support a refund of the remaining tuition minus the $50 non-refundable setup fee.
This policy ensures students and families are genuinely committed while allowing a fair refund for unused tuition.
Formal Course Period
Once the family confirms continuation after the first class, the course enters its formal learning phase.
Starting from the second class, tuition is generally non-refundable except in special circumstances.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Any non-refundable transaction or processing fees charged by third-party payment providers (e.g., credit card processors) will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Why This Policy?
Programming requires consistency, focus, and time.
The $50 setup fee ensures families are serious and allows instructors to prepare effectively.
This structure gives families the chance to make an informed decision while protecting resources and planning for other students.
Communication & Support
During the first class, we observe each student’s engagement and comfort level.
Parents are encouraged to communicate any concerns, and we will provide support or reasonable adjustments whenever possible.

第一节课及 $50 不可退设置费
第一节课为正式课程，家长和学生可在课后决定是否继续学习。
- 设置费： $50（不可退，用于账户开通、课程材料及教师准备）。
- 学费退款： 如果家长和学生决定不继续学习，我们支持退还剩余学费，但需扣除 $50 不可退设置费。
此政策既确保家长和学生的真实意向，也保证未使用学费可以得到合理退还。
正式课程阶段
一旦家长和学生确认继续学习，课程进入正式学习阶段。
从第二节课开始，学费通常不予退还，特殊情况除外。
退款处理
退款将退回至原支付方式。第三方支付平台（如信用卡公司）收取的不可退交易或处理费用将从退款金额中扣除。
为什么这样设置？
编程学习需要持续投入与稳定节奏。
$50 不可退设置费保证家长和学生真实投入，同时便于教师提前准备课程内容。
这一安排让家长和学生在做出决定时更加明确，同时保护课程资源和教学安排。
沟通与支持
在第一节课，我们会关注学生的课堂参与度与适应情况。
家长如有任何疑问或特殊需求，可及时沟通，我们会在合理范围内提供支持和调整。
